The reason he doesn't know what's in his income tax, the reason he was unaware of decisions being made by Bain managers, the decisions made for him when he was Governor of Massachusetts--he's the kind of CEO who sits in the front office and reads the paper, signing whatever is put in front of him, meeting and greeting important people and then sending them off to his Veep or secretary for information/decisions.
